Search the Product File

Use the search function to locate a specific product, or to retrieve a list of products which share similar qualities. The NMC offers two search modes: simple and advanced.

Simple search offers a 'contains' search only. Wildcards are not used.

  1. In the Products module, type all or any part of the product code, barcode, or a description of the product. If you can't enter text, click Simple Search mode.
  2. Click Search or press Enter.
    A list of products which meet the search filter is displayed.

Note: to clear the search results, click Clear.

If sub-categories exist under a category, you will only be able to select from the sub-categories.

  1. In the Products module, click Advanced Search.
  2. Select a category from the list.
    If sub-categories exist under a category, expand the category to view them.
  3. Click Search or press Enter.
    A list of products which meet the search filter is displayed.

Note: to clear the search results, click Clear.
