Reporting Menu

The standard operational reports are located within Settings | Reporting Menu. The console includes the flexibility to customise this menu, so that it better suits your business. You can:
- Create and delete a menu with submenus (one level deep)
- Rename submenus
- Add the same report into multiple submenus
- Shuffle the reports between the submenus.
Things to Consider
- You can create any number of reporting menus.
- You set the active reporting menu within Settings | Configurations | Reporting Menu option. You can set the menu against all locations, or use Location Override to reflect the menu against the selected location.
- Renaming report titles and reordering reports inside a submenu is not available.
- You can upload a logo to display at the top of every report.

Create a new Reports Menu
- From the sidebar, click Settings.
- Click Reporting Menu.
- Click Add.
- In Basic Information, type a Name and Description for the menu.
- Click Save.
- You're ready to Add Submenus and Move the Reports into a Submenu.
Add a Submenu to the Menu
Only submenus which contain reports will be visible within the Reports module.
- Click Add Category.
- Type the name of the submenu.
- Click Done Editing.
- Click Save once you've finished all edits to this menu.
Move a Report into a Submenu
You can make the same report available in multiple submenus.
- On the Menu Structure side, click to highlight the submenu name.
- On the Available Reports side, click to highlight a report in the list.
You can click multiple reports; each report to be moved will be highlighted blue. - Click Add to Category.
The selected reports are moved into the chosen submenu. - Click Save once you've finished all edits to this menu.
Edit Submenu Names
- Click Edit Category Names.
- Edit the submenu names as required.
- Click Done Editing.
- Click Save once you've finished all edits to this menu.
Remove a Submenu or Report
If you remove a submenu, all reports which are listed within it are also removed.
- Click to highlight the submenu or report to remove.
- Click Remove.
- Click Save once you've finished all edits to this menu.
Make a Reporting Menu Visible in the NMC
The default reporting menu uses DEFAULT_MENU.
You can set a customised menu against all locations, or use Location Override to select different reporting menu structure for various locations.
- From the sidebar, click Settings.
- Click Configurations.
- Click Reporting Menu.
- Choose which location to assign the reporting menu against:
To assign a global menu, in Default Value type the Name of the menu.
To assign a menu to a specific location, click Add Location Override, to select the Location and enter the Name of the menu. - Click Save.
Show a Logo on Reports
The configured logo shows at the top of every report listed in the Reports menu.
File specifications:
Maximum image dimensions: 300px x 100px.
Recommended Resolution: 300 dpi, but any resolution is accepted.
Consider if you prefer a transparent background for your image; the logo shows against a grey report background in the NMC, and a white background when printed or exported.
- From the sidebar, click Settings.
- Click Configurations.
- Click Report Logo.
- Either type the the url of the image saved on your server, or click Browse to save the image in the portal.
A thumbnail of the image is displayed. - Click Save.

Remove or Change the Logo on Reports
- From the sidebar, click Settings.
- Click Configurations.
- Click Report Logo.
- Click Remove Image.
- Optionally upload a new logo, as per the specifications in Show a Logo on Reports.
- Click Save.
