Welcome
After using the login credentials to sign in to NMC, you will be greeted by the Welcome Page.
This welcome page guides you through a few of the essential steps of getting your business set up. This include things like setting up your products / services with pricing and customising your receipt details so that they're suitable to your business.
You will see the welcome screen each time you sign in until you have finished the initial setup. Once you're finished, you'll use the sidebar menu to manage your activity. The sidebar remains visible as you navigate through the console. The Welcome page gives you an overview of NomadPOS setup for your business.
Tip: When you're finished, you can hide the Welcome Screen by clicking 'I'm done!' in Step 3
Step 1: Create your Categories and Products/Services
There are 2 ways of adding products or services.
The first option (recommended) is to - export the existing product file (excel file), - cut and paste or fill in your product details in the exact format as specified - and then import the completed product file into NMC.
The 2nd option is to manually add categories and then add products/services under each category. Categories relate to groups of products. Eg: Electronics >> Television
If you would like to add images to your products / services, you can go in to the products tab and add images or modify product details.
Step 2: Customise your receipt:
The receipt you will be sending your customers has already been customised with the name of your business when you sign up for NomadPOS. You can further customise the receipts with your company logo. Email us your company logo and we shall incorporate it in your receipt
Click on ‘I’m Done’. This will hide the Welcome Screen.
Once you've completed the initial setup, the NMC uses a sidebar menu to list the functions available for your access. The sidebar remains visible as you navigate through the console. To become more familiar with the most common tasks in the NMC, take a look at our Quick Start Guide for NMC.
